El 6 de octubre, 2016 la aeronave matricula HI 950 BE 99 aterrizo de emergencia en el aeropuerto internacional Las Américas, en el avión habian 13 personas abordo.
Avión Beechcraft BE 99
Número y tipo de motores 2 pratt and Whitney PT6-27 turboprop engines 1974 , el aeropuerto de salida fue Las Américas con destino a isla de Antigua, y planeaba aterrizar en el aeropuerto Internacional Clayton J Lloyd Internacional de Antigua, la aeronave es un avión comercial. En el momento de despegue la aeronave tenía dos tripulantes los cuales salieron ileso y 13 pasajeros que también salieron ilesos. Solo sufrió daño la aeronave en la hélice y parte del fuselaje de la aeronave.
El encardado de la Comisión Investigadora de Accidentes de Aviación (CIAA) expreso, “realmente hay una información de sabotaje que se ha manejado, y los organismos correspondiente están haciendo la investigación de esa denuncia”.
Emmanuel dijo, “La CIAA continúa haciendo las investigaciones del accidente, estamos haciendo la misma investigación que siempre hemos hecho, y estamos haciendo la investigación del incidente perce que es el incidente en sí”La otra parte de la denuncia esta en mano de la comisión que está investigando dicho asunto que es el CESAC como otra entidad que están haciendo una investigación de la denuncia, están haciendo una investigación independiente. La ley da faculta para eso siempre y cuando no entorpezcan la investigación de la CIAA.
La idea es determinar cuál fue la causa del incidente o si no salir de la duda, la evidencia que tenemos hasta ahora es muy halagadora, pero es muy temprano, y esperamos no tener que llegar a eso termino en la investigación.
Según Souffront, En la partes técnica yo puedo afirmarte que el pedazo de metal que se encontró alojado en la bahía del tren de aterrizaje de la aeronave era suficientemente grande para poder ser detectado por los pilotos y los mecánicos, tanto en el pre vuelo y el walk-around que debe hacer tanto mantenimiento como los pilotos ante de cada vuelo una de la cosa que deben chequear es la bahía del tren de aterrizaje.
Por otra parte un alto cargo del CESAC que no quiso ser identificado expreso, “todavía eso se está investigando esta en el proceso de investigación, debemos ser paciente y esperar el resultado de la investigación”. Al ser preguntado si hubo falla de seguridad por parte del CESAC dijo, “no hubo falla de seguridad, el piloto es quien tiene la responsabilidad de que el avión se vaya al aire entre tanto no hubo falla de seguridad”.

¿Es posible que el tren de aterrizaje deje de funcionar?
Es posible tener un mal funcionamiento del tren de aterrizaje, por un mal mantenimiento, o por un sabotaje intencional.
¿Se puede descartar el sabotaje?

¿Puede una persona que no sea de la NTSB mover una aeronave accidentada?
Si, otra persona nueve el avión que no sea miembro de la NTSB esa persona tiene que tener un entrenamiento, y esa persona debe tomar fotos y videos de cada pieza encontrada en la escena del accidente o incidente para que no haya contaminación de la escena del incidente o accidente se hace como si fuera una investigación arqueológico identificando el lugar y el numero de parte de la pieza.
¿Cual es la responsabilidad del mecánico en una compañía 135?
En una compañía 135 el mecánico debe entregar el avión ante del primer vuelo listo y chequeado a los pilotos, y los pilotos realizar el pre vuelo a dicha aeronave. Roy termino diciendo que si el metal esta dentro del fuselaje de la aeronave puede ser un sabotaje como un mala práctica de mantenimiento.
